You're lucky to be in an arts school with other talented people.. I got stuck in Catholic School... Where I got my knuckles bruised

If I can get up and move to the east coast by myself at sixteen, I shouldn't think the process of packing up two suitcases and your guitar and heading to the airport with a few thousand bucks saved should be all that intimidating for anyone even a bit older.AustinG wrote:I went to a public high school in a small town in the midwest before I ever arrived in the New York art scene.

You're lucky...I've always just wanted to take off, unfortunatley for me I've had sick parents for the past 10 years... and father still sick.. Cancer is a nasty thing... Maybe when the whole thing is over I'll leave my day job, sell everything, and take off... If I do, it will be ti Cali, or NYC... Austin, Tx was cool too.. The one good thing that came out of my job for the past 7 years is the traveling.. I've been to just about every state.. Some of it was cool as I was able to get out and explore, others were just a day or two and you don't get to see much...[/quote]If I can get up and move to the east coast by myself at sixteen, I shouldn't think the process of packing up two suitcases and your guitar and heading to the airport with a few thousand bucks saved should be all that intimidating for anyone even a bit older.
