Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": As long as there's, you know, sex and drugs, I can do without the rock and roll.

Thats a cool poem, your friend is talented. I like the way you read it too, i had to read one in class yesterday and it was really hard to put any emotion into it so kudos.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

I went to a public high school in a small town in the midwest before I ever arrived in the New York art scene.

I'm glad you guys liked it. :) They were pretty well-written, and that always makes the reading a bit easier.

If I can get up and move to the east coast by myself at sixteen, I shouldn't think the process of packing up two suitcases and your guitar and heading to the airport with a few thousand bucks saved should be all that intimidating for anyone even a bit older.

I lived in D.C. for four years, and moved to Manhattan last year. I'm twenty-one.

You're lucky...I've always just wanted to take off, unfortunatley for me I've had sick parents for the past 10 years... and father still sick.. Cancer is a nasty thing... Maybe when the whole thing is over I'll leave my day job, sell everything, and take off... If I do, it will be ti Cali, or NYC... Austin, Tx was cool too.. The one good thing that came out of my job for the past 7 years is the traveling.. I've been to just about every state.. Some of it was cool as I was able to get out and explore, others were just a day or two and you don't get to see much...[/quote]
