DER GRAUE WEG (german version of Grey Street)

so this is my second attempt to do a translation of a Dave song. Some of you might remember the first I did some month ago... Gravedigger (Totengräber)

This has got two tracks, one guitar and one vocal.
I didn't do the slide in the verse riff because I used an alterned tab of Ranting Thespian.
As for the vocals, I had some problems at some parts to find the same amout of syllables to express the same in german. Therefore, the timing of the lyrics is a little rough here and there.
I will post the lyrics tomorrow for those who are interested

Tell me what you guys think of it.

Bo that was awesome to hear , funny as hell , cracked me up right from the beginning to the end :lol:

Good shit man , solid playing , from 1:55 - 2:05 very powerful right there , the voice is amazing , and the end screaming was perfect

i havent had a chance to listen to it yet, but i am definitely definitely going to check this out. I am fuckin PSYCHED that there is someone doing stuff like this here =)

besides the fact that your guitar was out of tune (you shuold always retune before recording...) this song gave me chills to listen to in german. infact i think i like it better in german then in english... much more morbid.

Your voice was AWESOME. Great job -- very solid. watch 1:37 with your vocals. when you get into the part at 2:20 or so to 2:45 totengraeber... sooo sincere and i truely believe what you're saying.

hah, that was so fucking cool. god damn man. want to do a cover together?

grey street was out of tune too, though. Not as bad, but still out.. I think maybe just the G-string was flat.

it was the B-string I think, I didn't ring properly but it was in tune though
