I put together what I hope to become monthly challenges for the musicians over at ufck.org. This challenge was to create an instrumental with a time limit of sixty seconds. I had fun with it, although I didn't get my third track recorded in time.

Two sixty second instrumentals...

i like tireswings better,
theyre both obsiously really well produced and written, although i would've liked to hear a little more variation on tireswings for the 60 second time limit.
necrophobia was very interesting, but kinda gave me like "weird video game soundtrack" vibe as opposed to a polished instrumental. i feel like you may have overdone the variation on this one a little bit. it feels like you just built up another level at the end of each measure, as though its only purpose was the 60 sec instrumental, whereas i feel as though tireswings could be a chunk of a much larger masterpiece.
overall, very nice work. but you know that

thanks for listening, andy. both are only supposed to be sixty seconds. i can possibly see myself doing something with tire swings, but necrophobia was written solely as a sixty second instrumental, and that's all it'll be.mangold wrote:i like tireswings better,
