New Original "Hello, Goodbye"
I wrote this Friday night and I just finished it in the studio a few minutes ago, it's called "Hello, Goodbye". Let me know what you think...

-edit- I just realized this is the name of a Beatles song also. What can I say, I didn't know....

Ya, we were discussing that the other day when I came up with the rift, I made a thread about it.dmbvideos wrote:The guitar reminds me a little of "Light Lift Me Up"

i liked it. the guitar was really affective in it's simplicity. i love moving bass notes like that. i feel like it was a step backwards for your voice though from the last one. not that you missed notes or anything, cause you were probably 100% on that. just that it sounds too tight, too uptight. my only critique would be to loosen up a bit when you sing and it'll be perfect.

Ya, and for some reason I tend to loosen up the more I play something, but that's a good point, thanks. You need that loosness for this kind of song.Appfro wrote:i liked it. the guitar was really affective in it's simplicity. i love moving bass notes like that. i feel like it was a step backwards for your voice though from the last one. not that you missed notes or anything, cause you were probably 100% on that. just that it sounds too tight, too uptight. my only critique would be to loosen up a bit when you sing and it'll be perfect.

How can I compete with that...bassman462 wrote:I think it was better as a paul mccartney song.

sorry for the hijack, but me and sarah now live in the same city and are thinking of starting a band. sooooooooooo....you should move to NC and start it w/ us.Trippin Hillbilly wrote:I don't know man. This seems like a direct lift from Light Lift Me Up. Even the vocal melody is really similar. Poor form.
If I remember correctly, didn't you do something similar like copy a verse from someone who posted a song here?
