Angel

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Hey guys,

From what I've been reading on this board I'm probably the only one who likes the song Angel, fuckin love that raw guitar.
I was wondering if there's any video out there with dave playing it or someone playing this song.

Thanks in advance...

There are alot of people who like the song on this board. But often, when its compared to others, people tend to mention how they feels its not as good as the others.

I personally like this song alot. This is the first song I ever played live in front of a crowd.

angel is a good song, i love the guitar. i think most people complain about the lyrics but who cares, its a pop song. I think some people want every song that comes from the dave matthews band to be deep, soulfull, songwriting and that is just too much to ask, you just gotta lighten up a bit.

In response to your question, my favorite video is from the live at folsom field DVD. check it out

Can anyone upload a vid? It's the only song I struggle with and I think it's because I have never seen a vid. Please and thank you in advance if you do!

Get Folsom Field, Boulder Colorado. Awesome version, and it's well worth the buy.

I don't like Angel to start off with and then adding the unlovely ladies plus a 10+ minute version of this song ruined any hope of the song growing on me. And the Live at Folsom Field DVD isn't very good, IMO

*edit* As far as Folsom goes, the crazy camera changes were absurd but i think the setlist and show was a great performance.

the quality of the recording isn't great, but that's probably my favourite version of Angel that I've heard, thanks!
