Angel
Angel
Hey guys,
From what I've been reading on this board I'm probably the only one who likes the song Angel, fuckin love that raw guitar.
I was wondering if there's any video out there with dave playing it or someone playing this song.
Thanks in advance...

angel is a good song, i love the guitar. i think most people complain about the lyrics but who cares, its a pop song. I think some people want every song that comes from the dave matthews band to be deep, soulfull, songwriting and that is just too much to ask, you just gotta lighten up a bit.
In response to your question, my favorite video is from the live at folsom field DVD. check it out

Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

Well now you just ruined a great "angel" appreciation thread.jmack wrote:I don't like Angel to start off with and then adding the unlovely ladies plus a 10+ minute version of this song ruined any hope of the song growing on me. And the Live at Folsom Field DVD isn't very good, IMO
Here is an audio of "angel" acoustic on 2001.03.19 if anyone is interested. I don't belive i have any "angel" vids....well i may but there on dvd and i just can't rip that shit. Hope the audio helps.

*edit* As far as Folsom goes, the crazy camera changes were absurd but i think the setlist and show was a great performance.
