Learning Fingerstyle guitar

Just curious if any of you have experienced any fingerstyle guitar videos that you would recommend for me. I am kind of bored with my style right now and am trying to learn some fingerstyle techniques. any videos that you guys have used and would recommend would be great.

are you looking at basic fingerstyle like classical gas then i dont know why you would need a video, however trace bundy, justin king, and other such artists have their own unique styles and videos for them are available here:

yea im looking for something more like trace bundy, justin king, andy mckee styles. but i have that link, im actually looking for instructional vids, not just performance videos.

I wouldn't really consider classical gas "basic" fingerstyle, it's pretty complicated. I would think basic as Under The Bridge and Dust in the WInd. Or do you just mean traditional style?

yeh i just meant traditional, and it is pretty basic, just fast.

Learn some Iron and Wine. I believe that the best way to learn is to figure it out and your own.

Classical Gas is one of those songs that is easy to make sound good, even though you may be making a lot mistakes. I bet that a lot of people say they can play classical gas, but I highly doubt many could play it flawlessly from beginning to end, and in that way I think it makes it a song that is difficult to master. Furthermore, a lot of people only really know the beginning and that other part, and to them thats what Classical Gas is. Classical Gas for a beginner fingerpicker in its entirety would be difficult to learn if you ask me. hehe, I also have a damn hard time remembering all the parts to it when I play it!!!

yeh i had to teach myself by muscle memory... couldnt physically remember that tab
