Learning Fingerstyle guitar
Learning Fingerstyle guitar
Just curious if any of you have experienced any fingerstyle guitar videos that you would recommend for me. I am kind of bored with my style right now and am trying to learn some fingerstyle techniques. any videos that you guys have used and would recommend would be great.

are you looking at basic fingerstyle like classical gas then i dont know why you would need a video, however trace bundy, justin king, and other such artists have their own unique styles and videos for them are available here:

I wouldn't really consider classical gas "basic" fingerstyle, it's pretty complicated. I would think basic as Under The Bridge and Dust in the WInd. Or do you just mean traditional style?praisedave wrote:are you looking at basic fingerstyle like classical gas then i dont know why you would need a video, however trace bundy, justin king, and other such artists have their own unique styles and videos for them are available here:

There is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

Classical Gas is one of those songs that is easy to make sound good, even though you may be making a lot mistakes. I bet that a lot of people say they can play classical gas, but I highly doubt many could play it flawlessly from beginning to end, and in that way I think it makes it a song that is difficult to master. Furthermore, a lot of people only really know the beginning and that other part, and to them thats what Classical Gas is. Classical Gas for a beginner fingerpicker in its entirety would be difficult to learn if you ask me. hehe, I also have a damn hard time remembering all the parts to it when I play it!!!
Its like... getting two birds stoned at once. (Ricky-trailor park boys).
yeh i had to teach myself by muscle memory... couldnt physically remember that tabRyeguy wrote:Classical Gas is one of those songs that is easy to make sound good, even though you may be making a lot mistakes.
