A lost Dave Song.... Forever?

You guys are being pretty harsh on people who request a song. Does it honestly annoy you so much that it ruins the concert?

When drunk people do it every 10 seconds... in the middle of a song? Yes.

And, uh... filmdude... catharsis is exactly what the OP said it was. The Oxford definition: "1 the process of releasing, and thereby providing relief from, strong or repressed emotions."

speaking of forgotten songs, has anyone heard 'Hold me up' or 'Heathcliff's' and if anyone has any versions of either. 'Hold me up' is actually a pretty good song. The guitar kind of reminds me of LIOG. I've never heard Heathcliff's though

I have a version of HMD but it sounds like it was cut in half, and it's not very clear

I remember hearing CL and not liking it a whole lot. That was before I heard HMD though, I might just need to give it another listen

Nah, I just listened to Cig lit and it doesn't really sound anything like Hold me down, Dave just used the riff for the outro, I don't think it evolved into that song.

Light Lift Me Up is such a great song, I'll never understand why it was never fully adopted by the band.
