When drunk people do it every 10 seconds... in the middle of a song? Yes.
And, uh... filmdude... catharsis is exactly what the OP said it was. The Oxford definition: "1 the process of releasing, and thereby providing relief from, strong or repressed emotions."

I know it's supposed to be the outro to it or something, I was saying the original song is/was badass.

also, I was wondering if anyone had any versions of these 'lost' songs they could post, like 'Heathcliff's', 'Cigarette Lit' or even the original 'Hold Me Down.'
I have a version of HMD but it sounds like it was cut in half, and it's not very clear

No no, Hold Me Down became Cigarette Lit, a scrapped song off Some Devil.

I remember hearing CL and not liking it a whole lot. That was before I heard HMD though, I might just need to give it another listen

Nah, I just listened to Cig lit and it doesn't really sound anything like Hold me down, Dave just used the riff for the outro, I don't think it evolved into that song.

Light Lift Me Up is such a great song, I'll never understand why it was never fully adopted by the band.
