For $50 you get a tool that lets you loop any part of any song and slow it down to any speed you like without losing pitch. Ever try to nail the Jimi Thing solo from Luther College?? It's nearly impossible. With Slow Gold I've been able to slow his solo down to 50% and make sense out of the tab now. Now, I almost have the whole solo down note for note. Obviously, I don't have down at Timmy's speed yet, but it will come. Without Slow Gold I couldn't have figured out this solo in a million years.

For one thing, it's not a waste of money, ESPECIALLY if you're trying to learn someone like Dave with his crazy strum patterns, slaps, etc. It's a tremendous way to slow down the difficult parts and see EXACTLY what he's doing.
