OK, I played around with it in Cool Edit a bit.
Lots of limiter, a bit of chorus for warmth, medium reverb for warmth, EQ for bringing vocals up more front.
I almost entirely killed the bass because it contained so much hum. This might not work on your stereo so feel free to increase it, it muds up vocals a lot though.
Oh, I saved it in mono 64kbit mp3 since the stereo did nothing for it so why not make it more manageable?
Keep in mind that the general goal is to bring vocals up more front, hence the guitar sounds really weak when its alone because I cut freqs for it.
Changed the intro and outro. The intro is now slightly fading and the outro is completely changed, should be obvious.
Overall it does still sound really bad, however, its easier to hear whats going on now. Plus the volume got raised a bit in general.
This mix WILL hurt your ears more because its sharper and more trebly, keep this in mind.
