Re: stone help
None other than the fact that I searched for "stone help" and came up with the following (took me all of 30 seconds):topgun17 wrote:i need some help on stone, specifically how i cant get the intro to sound right is it the speed i'm getting wrong or what? it just doesn't sound like his i think i'm slower, if so what can i do to help it besides just practice? thanks, and i hope you don't find any fault with my post 8)

There's also *gasp* videos.
There's a reason why people get annoyed when newbs ask questions like this...because they've been asked and discussed many, many, many, many, many, many times. Your answer is there waiting for you.
what part do you need help on? intro? verse? the only problem i have with this song is that my pinkie gets tired. so i cant play the entire 1st verse
For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again

Also, the stone was a pretty tough song to learn for most of us(probably).i like tictacs wrote:who cares..he's a newb for a reason..just show him to the search and all is well.
If you can play Drive In Drive Out, then you can play the stone.
I think that if you learn the bulk of the "easier" songs from dave and then tackle the tougher ones you'll find that it gets easier and easier with each new song you learn. Dave didn't write the stone unitl he'd written R2T,UUTAD, and CRASh.
But, you should also learn the search tool. There is a FAQ somewhere round' here.
