To me, it sounds like the whole album was recorded on a shitty acoustic/electric. I really don't know what Batson's purpose in the studio was. Except maybe make some really bad loops.GuitarGuy305 wrote:I think that Godin sounds like shit on Hunger if that is what guitar it is. Sounds like a shitty acoustic/electric plugged in.

You guys are fucking dumbasses. Did none of you watch the webcast? It wouldn't matter if Stefan played it on a Taylor or Martin in the studio and it sounded exactly like dave, you'd hate it because it wasn't Dave. Dave plays it live on the Taylor, so you can still rub one out to that.
And I'm sure if you knew that Dave wrote it/played it you'd praise it like it was Halloween part 2. And it is leaps and bounds beyond half the crap on that album anyway.

Completely agreed. I don't think that the progression stefan came up with was best, but still, the band wrote these songs with a completely changed way. Whatever came up, they laid them down and tried to work it into a songbbatsell wrote:I definitely agree with you here. Yeah, I could care less who played guitar on that song, its still one of my favorites on the album.DMBFan63 wrote:Completely agreed. I like the song. I was just saying that the guitar tone sounds shitty, not the playing. To be honest I didn't know it was Stefan until I read it on here.i like tictacs wrote:You guys are fucking dumbasses. Did none of you watch the webcast? It's a simple chord progression and people whine because they expect dmb to be "more creative" than that, even though it's still a solid songBigSpeen3436 wrote:Yeah, I could care less who played guitar on that song, its still one of my favorites on the album.DMBFan63 wrote:Completely agreed.
