thats a pretty basic dave chord so if you plan on playing more DMB, the best thing to do is keep stretching it and you'll feel comfortable in no time

I can stretch about 8 frets from the 1st fret and 9 frets from teh 12th fret because I play so much DMB. (Pictures are coming in a second)

There are multiple ways to play the same chord - this is how I play that chord, and it sounds pretty damn good. I've played it innumerable times to recordings of Dave and it matches up just fine.

I don't know, that's a pretty different sounding chord if you ask me. And I think the high G (played in the correct chord with your pinky on the b string) sort of makes it.

The two positions of the G in the 2 chords make very little difference in the sound, from what I can hear. And anyway, the chord that is in the picture is much easier to play for someone that can't reach to make the more accurate chord.
BTW, I think i'm gonna play it with the right chord now. When I learned this song from this website 3 or 4 years ago I learned it the way it is pictured. But I like the correct chord.

You're right on how he plays it... though I could have sworn I've heard it differently (even though you can't really hear the difference... lol.)
