reminds me of classical gas a little bit..
awesome, the 2nd recording is perfect

I will say that I enjoy the second recording alot better. I think of as one of my more complete recordings.

I fell for it too. My previous comment still stands: Awesome X 3.dmbguitar718 wrote:i must question this, since the second version was never put up.Tranman66 wrote:this is truly your best work i must say tho even if you dont think it is.

Seems like the second one is more percussive. That tapping part is really growing on me. Tapping doesn't sound very musical a lot of time imo but you did an amazing job with it. The technique serves the composition not the other way around. Outstanding, your best work to date.

the first fingerpicked section kinda has a strange melody when you are sliding. it seems like its going to resolve in a certain place and then repeats the same part. sometimes this is a good thing, but in this case i feel robbed.
and i agree with MWR about the tapping part. that has a great melody and fits the rest of the song well
i have to say i didn't like the part around 2:00 where play just a bass line. it sounded very shakey rhythmically and a little out of place.

I can kinda see what you're saying about the second part. (i'm assuming you meant second) That's just the song is though. I'm not like hardcore defending it, but I mean if I did it any other way, it wouldn't...be the same if you know what I mean.fatjack wrote:the first fingerpicked section kinda has a strange melody when you are sliding. it seems like its going to resolve in a certain place and then repeats the same part. sometimes this is a good thing, but in this case i feel robbed.

As far as the bass part, I become less and less fond of it the more I listen to it. I mean it's a good start, but I think it needs more than just the bass and four harmonics. Maybe incorporate a subtle tapping melody. I don't know.
