No but I've heard really great thing's about them.
Oh and make sure you have a good pop filter. You could damage it otherwise.
Congrats. That would excite me too.

I've heard large diaphragm Shure's and I was unimpressed. SE is a great company that isn't known in the US yet. Their mics have been popular in Europe for a while though.
I've been looking at a Rode Nt-1a because it has almost no self noise which is crucial in your quiter intrumental recordings. I hate noise!

Nice. Are they good for recording acoustic? I might have to pick one up myself.

Sounds cool Miguel, you better be posting song after song once you get it!

That mic looks sweet Miguel. You definitely need to post something up for us once you get it. Little bit of a sample, eh?

Yep, i've heard some amazing things about this mic. It's gonna cost me £129. People have been telling me that SE electronics is using this mic compete with most £500-£600 microphones and every review I read about it praises it.

I've heard the same about the low self noise on the Nt1a but from people that have owned both on the homerecording.com board, apparently the SE2200A is a notch above.

I'll be posting lots and lots of recordings for you guys. :D:D
