No but I've heard really great thing's about them.
Oh and make sure you have a good pop filter. You could damage it otherwise.

I've been looking at a Rode Nt-1a because it has almost no self noise which is crucial in your quiter intrumental recordings. I hate noise!

Yep, i've heard some amazing things about this mic. It's gonna cost me £129. People have been telling me that SE electronics is using this mic compete with most £500-£600 microphones and every review I read about it praises it.
I've heard the same about the low self noise on the Nt1a but from people that have owned both on the homerecording.com board, apparently the SE2200A is a notch above.
I'll be posting lots and lots of recordings for you guys.
