From what I could tell the playing was really good, sounded nice, but from 00:12 to about 00:30 it sounded a lot like My Girl.
Also, stop using the windows thing, just get audacity!
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
Free, sounds good, works well.

This is pretty damn good.
Let me guess though, only one take for each track. Give your playing the attention it deserves. You have some really great melodic things going on but it's all masked by the fact that you didn't take the time to get a solid rhythm track.
Do yourself a favor, buy a decent mic and nix the windows recorder. That thing sucks swollen donkey testicles.
Critisism aside you show a ton of promise esp. with the soloing.

yes, i did only one take for each. I was so excited at the possibility of having something solid with 2 tracks!MWR wrote:This is pretty damn good.

What would you suggest for someone with under 100 dollars?MWR wrote:If you just want a do everything mic that you can use right out the box without a pre-amp or mixer than get a Shure SM57.
Audacity is probably the best free recording software but you CAN get better programs for free...thats a morality issue though.
