(ie taylor, martin, <insert favorite brand>)... i have a friend who has 3 taylors because his dad plays guitar... he also has at least one les paul... maybe 2 now.. anyway, i figure theres always a chance.. my mom used to play guitar, but only basic chords. she cant even do that now. theres always a chance :?

that's exactly what i am doing. i asked my grandmother if she would let me use her credit to make payments on a guitar, but she denied me. apparently she did the same thing for my mom and dad years ago and they screwed her.....sucks for me :x

i have a feelin my dad might spring for the cost of a 12-string on a GC trip when i go home at the end of the semester... nothin fancy, last time i was there i tried a 300 dollar used washburn that sounded and felt awesome... also played a yamaha 12er on sale for like 289 that i loved...

dont see him too often anymore so he tends to be pretty nice lol

...well every guitar I got so far (CHET-SST, LP DELUXE, TAYLOR814) was with my parents fronting a large amount...I work with my dad during the summer and I pay off every cent...

...and by the way...when I was looking at the Taylor 812, I was originaly going to pay it in monthly instalment...it can be done (well, layaway), but you only will have like 4 months...

if i can get her to buy a koa model i can convince her the resale value is going to skyrocket due to the high demand of the wood!

Try and make a deal with your parents. Something like If I make such and such grades you pay half.
