does anyone know of anyway that they might be able to get their parent to buy them a nice guitar? (ie taylor, martin, <insert favorite brand>)... i have a friend who has 3 taylors because his dad plays guitar... he also has at least one les paul... maybe 2 now.. anyway, i figure theres always a chance.. my mom used to play guitar, but only basic chords. she cant even do that now. theres always a chance

...well every guitar I got so far (CHET-SST, LP DELUXE, TAYLOR814) was with my parents fronting a large amount...I work with my dad during the summer and I pay off every cent...
...and by the way...when I was looking at the Taylor 812, I was originaly going to pay it in monthly instalment...it can be done (well, layaway), but you only will have like 4 months...

people need to start calling me Philip...
...try to convince them that it is an "investment"...that you are going to do something with it, and it is not a foolish purchase...

if i can get her to buy a koa model i can convince her the resale value is going to skyrocket due to the high demand of the wood!
