with harmonics you just lay your finger across the fret, not the open space, the actual metal bar, and stum, the 12th harmonic is the easy to get to sound, you don't press down on the strings and make sure your other fingers aren't on them, and stum, the 12th fret harmoic is just one octave higher than the string you're playing it on. i think thats about it.

I would like to emphasize that you "lightly" put your finger over the fret. If you apply too much pressure the harmonic won't sound. Think of it as making your finger hover over the fret rather than pressing on it.

Thanks guys, im glad we cleared up that Harmonic nonsense. Im going to look into spoon, but there's no video of it is there? Is it picking or just strumming?
Just a side note- Finally, lets clear this up- WHAT IS THE EASIEST DMB SONG TO LEARN? ONCE AND FOR ALL. THERE MUST BE ONE SONG THAT EVERY ONE AGREES THAT IS EASY TO PLAY? PLEEEEAAAASSSEEE AGREE ON 1. lol
