For Her...
This is an original I posted on V-day for my girlfriend...
Some have heard this, some haven't, but I personaly believ it is my best (lol) work...I actually didn't improv this!
I still need to put some sweet lyrics to it yet...anywho...

Thoroughly enjoyed the song. I mean, that was damn good...Its got a good percussive sound to it, and the way you slap those individual notes is pretty cool. (I'm not implying that it sounds dave-like, you've def got your own style going here.) Ok, so if you wrote this for a girl, I know there are lyrics. Dont bullshit me now, fire.
Jury's still out for me on the synth thing in the background. I cant decide if I like that part...The song sounds very pro man. Good job.

I really dig the progression, and I personally really liked the synth stuff in the background. Gave it an that.......etherical? sound.......I don't think that's the word I am looking for but.....that spacey kind of sound. Yeah. Good job. I like it alot.......if it had words I might just listen to in regularly.

Fire.............Fire..........FIRE!! WHAT THE???
Sounds incredible to me man..im trying to think of what it reminds me of........got it, ever hear the theme to Twin Peaks? That really EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRY track...thats what it reminds me of, the synth or whatever you did in the background really made it for me... I'd really like to hear that with some lyrics.
I bet you got some after playing that for your girlfriend didn't you?

abstenance man
8) 2 Christians...purity is the deal...and before I get a "you don't know what you are missing" response, we have gone nearly 2 years now without problems so...
But seriously, thanks for the responses...actually for lyrics...I came up with about 20 sets of lyrics, but I never think they are good enough for her...still in working progress...not to mention, it is a HARD song to sing to...unless you are Peter Gabriel or Sting lol...thanks again guys...

Im listening to this right now, about 1:00 into it and I must say I really like it so far. The part at 1:40 is really cool, I liked that a lot, the change at 2:20 too. Did you say you have lyrics for this, you should put those down on top of it or something, whatever youve got so far just to hear something. Towards the end the part in the background is really cool, okay I just got done, damn that was really good.

hey, sounds even better than the first time i heard it, haha. im sitting here listening to it and i've already started humming a melody line so it probably wouldn't be that hard to put lyrics to it if you invested some time.
