Look on ebay, best bet to get your hands on one. Pricewise, to buy one, your looking at $5000-$6000 range.max wrote:btw, does anyone know how hard it is to get a DM3MD these days and how much they would go for? Just curious. . also, how much were they when they first came out (direct from Martin, i'm assuming)?

I remember reading a post Jared had a while back that said that he didn't have #2. Something about someone finding it online and having it. So he has #1 and 3.two_stepper10 wrote:I could have sworn I read an article about the DM3MD's and it had said Dave owned the first 3...DMBFan63 wrote:If i remember correctly, he doesn't have either 2 or 3..i don't remember exactly. ask kanter or do a searchadamondo wrote:He has 1 + 2 of 234 made I THINK, not positive though.max wrote:so which ones does he have?DMBFan63 wrote:that site has one thing wrong for the dm3md: Dave Has: 3 (Numbers 1,2,3 of 234 made)

And he has more than 3 914-CEs. If I'm correct he has 2 Venetian cutaways w Cindy Inlay: 1 in standard and 1 in Drop D. 1 Florentine cutaway w Cindy Inlay. And 2 Venetian cutaways w/o Cindy Inlay. So that would make 5. That is what I've seen thus far. That's my two cents

I wouldn't be surprised that dave doesn't have that many chets, but could have chnaged the finish. I bet he doesn't own that many ovations, but could have traded them up, or such.
I don't trust the amount of guitars it says he has, but I like it that it shows he has (or had) a bunch of different ones. Who knew he has (or had) a Takamine.

now a days, the only place to really get one is on Ebay unfortunately. They typically end up going for anywhere between 4000-5750 from what i have seen recently. One will pop up every month or two if you lucky. originally i think the list was only 3400 or so.max wrote:btw, does anyone know how hard it is to get a DM3MD these days and how much they would go for? Yep, isn't that the truthGuitarGuy305 wrote:You know you've really made it as a rock star when you have a separate guitar in drop D, and you don't have to just twist a knob a quarter turn anymore.2StepGranny wrote:And he has more than 3 914-CEs.
