Wow, i've realized I haven't posted a cover in about a month so I figured I was due (wether you like it or not!

) I've been so busy lately I've only had time to learn one new song, and it happens to be James Taylor's -- Carolina in my Mind. This song was quite a different step for me from covering Mayer and Mraz. I think my interpretation gives it a new feel kind of. Well tell me what ya think.

(should be at the top)
I'll play it first and tell you what it is later.

Very interesting to listen to. I know you stated that your version is a "new feel," but the timing and some of the vocals were pretty far off. Perhaps that was intentional but I suppose I wasn't open to it. I'm pretty picky when it comes to James Taylor, though. Your voice is in fact quite enjoyable - a mix of John Mayer with a punk aspect. The guitar was pretty good. Off in a number of places but then again, maybe this was intentional as it didn't sound like mistakes - just you playing something different. Thanks for posting it.

Greedy, when you said some of the timing and vocals were off do you mean off from the original, or off key all together. I didn't think I really went off key that much, if so tell me where so I can improve, thanks!
I'll play it first and tell you what it is later.

Off from the original, certainly not off-key together. I actually enjoyed your voice very much. There are a lot of instances where it differs. Listen to the original and if you can't detect them I'll point them out. I feel bad for being bitchy because I think you have a very unique voice and a lot of talent. Nice job all-around.

Good song overall. At some parts it sounds like you are a little tense with the vocals. But good as always
