stopping by the guitar shop later..any certain pics you guys recommend for playing dave songs? this will be my last post about pics in general. later guys, bo

dave uses the orange tortex... i find that i ware those out way too fast so i dont usually use those .. but they are definitely good.. howie day uses them as well (i got one from mister day himself)

yeah, i use the Jim Dunlop "Big Stubby" 3.0 mm pick, it may be big, but it has little wear on it and ive been using it for over a year. It sounds awesome too, it may make the pick sound a little more obvious, but thats ok with me

amen to that, fender picks don't last more than five minutes with me. just recently i stole one from my guitar class at school, and when i pulled it out of my pocket when i got home the tip was already broken off. pieces of shit i tell you. i use dunlop tortex .5 mm (the reds) or the oranges if its all i can find.grock wrote:yuck to fender picks. i break those things left and right.
