crash into me

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

yeah, you need to learn basics from what I can tell. While your doing that, you need to learn how to count. I hate to sound like a tape player but it is so much easier to figure out songs when you know where the 1 is

dude, you posted this like 2-3 days ago and you haven't been playing very long...keep working and give it time and it WILL come, everyone one of us here went through those struggles when we first started...and trust me, having people talk to you about it DOESN'T help, what helps is when you just sit there and start playing, and if you can't get the song, play something else and then come back to this and eventually you'll get it...don't get discouraged!
B+P by offer only...thank you

Adamondo, crash into me was the first dave song I learned. The easiest way I learned to play it, as many others have said, is to just play along with the song. Just go to the tab here on dmbtabs.com and click on the link to play the audio part of it. Then just listen to that and play along, really pay notice to the bass notes, and you can strum the rest easily as long as you can play the bass notes on time.

yeah, that is very true. The video I posted is slowed down slightly, so it might be easy to play along with it first, and then, of course, play regular speed with the actual song. Good luck! Tell me if you need anythign else and I'll see what I can do. :)

Hey Davy, long time no see. What have you been doing?
Skiing my skinny, hairy little ass off. Mostly at Whistler(F***ing ski Nirvana), but a few times at Crystal Mountain near Mt. Rainier. Then I had to play at a bunch of Christmas church concerts with my band. I'm back though. Headed to the Key Arena for D&F Jan 12th.

Check out my list of song links a little ways down this page: http://www.dmbtabs.com/boards/viewtopic ... c&start=30

Also, check out my post on this page....the audio link doesn't work anymore, but the text should help you.
