dude, you posted this like 2-3 days ago and you haven't been playing very long...keep working and give it time and it WILL come, everyone one of us here went through those struggles when we first started...and trust me, having people talk to you about it DOESN'T help, what helps is when you just sit there and start playing, and if you can't get the song, play something else and then come back to this and eventually you'll get it...don't get discouraged!adamondo wrote:it's just that i don't know when to strum during what chords and stuff and i have been trying to figure this out since i first posted
B+P by offer only...thank you

Adamondo, crash into me was the first dave song I learned. The easiest way I learned to play it, as many others have said, is to just play along with the song. Just go to the tab here on dmbtabs.com and click on the link to play the audio part of it. Then just listen to that and play along, really pay notice to the bass notes, and you can strum the rest easily as long as you can play the bass notes on time.

yeah, that is very true. The video I posted is slowed down slightly, so it might be easy to play along with it first, and then, of course, play regular speed with the actual song. Good luck! Tell me if you need anythign else and I'll see what I can do.two_stepper10 wrote:Adamondo, crash into me was the first dave song I learned. Skiing my skinny, hairy little ass off. Mostly at Whistler(F***ing ski Nirvana), but a few times at Crystal Mountain near Mt. Rainier. Then I had to play at a bunch of Christmas church concerts with my band. I'm back though. Headed to the Key Arena for D&F Jan 12th.borocks wrote:Hey Davy, long time no see. Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead

I can't believe that we would lie in our graves wondering if we had spent our living days well, and I can't believe that we would lie in our graves dreaming of things that we might have been...
