Or I can bust out the keyboard and guitar again and turn it into an actual song of some sort with, y'know, less ambiguous lyrics and a title.
On the plus, I got to screw around on my friends ondes martenet (sp) and drop it down an octave to make really pretty strings.

- Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": As long as there's, you know, sex and drugs, I can do without the rock and roll.

I think this needs some flushing out. I like that it's ambient and the production is really good. The vocals are cool but your backup gives them a chorusy sound which doesnt work. Maybe experiment a little with those.
What program are you arranging with? Acid? Logic? Reason?
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

I actually spent a lot of time fucking around in order to get that same chorus quality.
I'm using Garageband.
I turned up the vocals because I've gotten complaints about how they blend in too excessively rather than sitting on top, but I'll try it and see if I like it.
