slower tempos screw me up
i can strum a fast song and make it sound good, but when i strum a slow song it sounds like crap... ive been working on this song (capo on 3rd fret then Dsus4 Em7 C2) and i just cant make it sound good.... i need to learn how to play slow songs... any ideas?

it'll come, man. just keep practicing. play along with any song. you'll be able to hook onto the beat and time of any song eventually. controlling your tempo is challenging but quite important. especially if you wanna jam with other people, like a drummer or another guitarplayer. say, what song are you practicing on with the capo on 3?shane wrote:i can strum a fast song and make it sound good, but when i strum a slow song it sounds like crap... ive been working on this song (capo on 3rd fret then Dsus4 Em7 C2) and i just cant make it sound good.... i need to learn how to play slow songs... any ideas?
