well this will probably not go over well, but i re-joined the warehouse in march after a short lapse, just to get tickets to one of the D&T shows. And i did get tickets to one of the shows. All in all, i still think warehouse is a bad deal, but this is a D&T show.

re:
The bad part about the warehouse is that they promote the idea that you will usually get the tickets that you request and that seniority plays a huge role. As usual we consumers get screwed because in the end their user agreement states that they can basically do whatever they want and not have to provide any reasons why one is declined, its totally disingenuous and something I thought DMB would not be involved with. Basically, they should have let the members know that the D&T shows were clearly not going to be based on seniority because I know people who re-upped their membership just for these shows and then ended up not getting tickets. What I don't understand is the fact that the D&T shows are such a novelty that it would seem that long time hard core Dave fans would be given seniority status. In the end they are going to lose a paying member (me) over this and I encourage others to email the warehouse to let them know that they suck. Though I admit that they probably don't care.
As far as value, well I suppose it depends on your income. I'm no high roller, but $40 a year has not been too much of a problem to guarantee that I get tickets to the shows I want and to avoid having to wait in huge lines for tickets. Getting tickets to the Fenway shows (and subsequently smoking a bone on the field both nights) almost made up for the yearly membership dues.

Hoffdaddy,
Seriously asshole this is a forum not an English class. Do you read the structure of many of the comments on this board, many of which are vulgar and crude, yet you make a comment about paragraph structure. Friggin loser, this is what you bring to the table.
You can clearly understand everything I said regardless of paragraph structure. Next time keep your comments to yourself. Seriously, what was the point? You feel better now? I look forward to your witty dickhead response.
