I think the venue had an awful lot to do with that. They went the gimmicky route, probably figuring a lot of their long time fans weren't going to be there.

i thought about that, and that probably has a lot to do with it. celebrity folk and what not.

You know the one song I don't mind off of Stand Up in the live setting is You Might Die Trying. They added that new part at the end and it sounds pretty good. Lyrics are mediocre, but out of the 14 songs off that album not including Hello Again, that is the only one that has some semblance of their older sound.

damn it, why can't DMB do something like the Lillywhite Sessions again... minus all the tension and problems that were apart of them...
