BT question...
i downloaded one of the D+F shows from sharingthegroove. when it was finished and i went to burn it they werent there. the folders were there, but when i went to click on one of the songs to play it it said windows cannot open this file and that it needed to know what program created it. if anyone can help me out i would really appreciate it. i basically need to know what this means and how i can burn this show onto cd.

you need winamp and the shn plugin for ur version of winamp to open the files. check out ww.etree.org or etree.com i cant remember which..to get the plug in...also the shn files are pretty big, the show is about a gigabyte...unless u convert ull need much more than one cd

You need the mkw audio converter to convert the shn files to wav files so you can listen to/burn them. You can find it here: http://www.etree.org/mkw.html along with instructions.

You can convert your SHN----WAV WAV-----MP3 to save space. ( you will lose sound quality)
Just don't share the mp3's anywhere.

Not correct , MP3 is a DATA format , not an AUDIO format , thats why you can have an average of 100 songs per CD , but you can't just put that in your CD player unless it supports MP3 playbackThe Dreaming Tree wrote:actually converting to mp3 doesnt save any space on an audio cd... 1 cd usually holds 80

Yeah, you can convert to mp3 to save space on your computer just do not share the files, as for actually converting them. You need to drag and drop all the songs as well as the md5 files to go from shn-> wav and you just have to ctrl drop files to go from wav->mp3 If you still need help let us know and be descriptive
