and when will he give stay or leave, gravedigger, some devil, and so damn lucky a rest? he plays them just about every time he plays on his own now.

what? you disagree? I don't mean to sound so negative, because i would love to be at any of those shows but the sets don't look much different from last year. i'm just a little dissapointed.

ive been at basicly all the UK solo dave shows, and im not disappointed, hes playing to crouds who wont know too much of his songs, so he has to do the crash/crush/wayg/SD etc and then a few random ones, they are still great shows even if we never get raven

I just think your expectations might have been a little high. I wasn't expecting 5 new songs from a D&T show or a european tour. If you're looking for songs from the new album, I definitely think they're going to save most of the road testing for the US summer tour, since we're they're main fanbase.
And as for the SD songs, those are dave's solo songs. Why wouldn't he play them when he's on a solo tour? And he's been playing them for way less years than he's been playing the dmb tunes. Not to mention, they're awesome.

Also note that Christmas Song and Grey Street havent been played d&t since '03.

This is pretty cool. Dave cant hit the high notes though

he changed up the chorus. I dont blame him though, there arent many people who can hit Neil's high notes

I really don't get why people complain about the sets. It's not like Dave has this super secret stash of awesome songs no one has ever heard. He's gonna play his songs that he has played for years and knows work along with a few new ones. This is what any band does. I'm not really sure what all you guys who complain about sets are really expecting?

Here's the problem with that. In this stage of DMB's life, if they played that setlist there would be 10,000 people in the audience going WTF?. Now it might make alot of fans like you and me really happy, but to be honest, I don't think they really are that worried about making us happy, they wanna make everyone at the show ahve a good time. And sadly, if a set like that was played, alot of people would be pretty damn confused. If it were still 1994 they could do whatever they wanted onstage and everyone would be like wow this is cool. But the times have changed.
