Strings Dave Uses?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Strings Dave Uses?

Hey all,

First off I wanna thank everyone that started this site, it rules. I have been using the original site for a while and this new updated site is amazing, the videos are so helpful. Anyway I wanted to know what strings Dave uses on his guitar. Everyone tells me something different. I figured you guys probably know.

I seem to have lost my book, but its in the L@LC tab book when i find it I'll get back to you, but are you talkin about when he plays electric or acoustic?

I'm pretty sure he uses D'Addarios....
but personally I prefer Elixers Polyweb 12s

I believe he uses D'Addario lights.
I like the nanowebs myself but I never tried the polys.

I just put D'Addarios on my guitar tonight and then read this post.... I love them! I was using Elixers before.. but the sound of D'Addarios are amazing... deeper and truer.. I think.

I use Elixirs (either Poly or Nano ... I think I prefer Poly, but I keep going back and forth :))
