So I don't currently have time to record, plus I want to perfect the lyrics a bit more, but I'll hopefully get the song posted tommorrow. In light of the play my friend wrote about his past haunting him, and the recent amount of untimely death I kind of wrote through it.
Lyrics:
the heavens fall down
and I wonder
could life just be what we see
no there's more, there is more
tears, tare the wound of
the atrium of our wine
the center of all our life
we let it out, we let it all out
but we look on
past the text, past the play
we see what we must
we draw from it
the life lessons that we
never found anywhere else
and we stop
and stare at the heavens gleam
standing on the corner
and I wonder
could this rain be her tears
and the life that's bled from them
the life that was
taken from her as she walked
walked down the street
as she smiled, as her face glistened
as the time she spent went down
the sand just ran, and it ran
till her last breath, a sweet hallelujah
that relfected off of, all our hearts
as we got drunk, off of her wine
and stare at the heavens gleam
new original "her heaven story"
