Is there a reason they don't come here? Not that I want them to, really.
Not a lot of people know about this place, which is cool because I like it the way it is, but I think most people who visit the site just get their tab or post their question in the Dave forum and never really check out the rest of the site

Daniel lanois(lan-waa) is a canadian music producer. Probably a familiar name cause dmb covers "the maker", which he wrote. He's produced dylan, u2, peter gabriel and a bunch more. I really dig peter gabriel and the feel of u2's older albulms seems like it would mesh really well with dmb.
I wish dmb knew how much BTCS really effected their fans, in an extremely good way. Dmb are professionals and it would be awesome if they all seriously went into a studio w/ an amazing producer  and made some amazing music, especially w/ all the experience they have. The band could totally put every other band to shame if put in the correct and focused environment.

I see what you're saying.

Since they've been together for so long, and are such veteran musicians, they should be putting their experience to good use, writing songs with the amount of depth and respect they deserve. Instead, they're getting lazy.

there's so damn much about this band that saddens me. So much potential to pull out some great stuff.

1. I hadn't listened to Stefan's Two Step intro from CP in a loooong time. It's glorious.

2. You can really hear the difference between the Perfect iTunes EQ setting and the Flat, if you switch back and forth between the two.

Yeah, here it's a common phrase to refer to someone's bad luck. Having been peed (ie in pissed, from urinate) on by an elephant is a synonim(sp?) to being unlucky or having bad luck.

He's been pissed by an elephant for sure! He can never get the girl he wants to get.

Well you could try it and see if it works. I've got other cool translations.

LIke:

It gave! (if you just wanted something to happen, and you just did it, no matter what then something GAVE)

A: Why do you want to see the flecks, you know they suck!
B: It just gives, man.

Really simplifier of speech.
