Record sales were actually pretty bad, so that definitely got the message across and I know that crew members do view the boards, but its nothing like it used to be at the ML when Lillywhite actually posted on a regular basis.
Well balls to that.

Is there a reason Lanois hasn't produced? You'd think it'd be a perfect fit.

He would be perfect. I guess it just goes back to what I said before, they really don't feel like being pushed or challenged.

The DMBML (Dave Matthews Band Mailing List) was one of the first DMB boards, it was extremely popular and yes Lillywhite did on occassion post there to let the fans know what was going on.

Wow....tough chance of that EVER happening again.

WHy does Lanois sound familiar....hasn't he played with the band?

What other producer work has he done with other bands?

It shut down and most of the posters moved to anyoneseenthebridge.org, which also shut down around 2004, then they went to ufck.org, which closed out its dmb section a few months ago so now all those posters post at a new site thesedayscontinue.org

Dave covers The Maker from time to time which is written by Lanois. Didn't he do another tune written by him?... The covering of his material is the extent of his involvement to my knowledge. Lanois also produced acts like U2 and The Rolling Stones.

Is there a reason they don't come here? Not that I want them to, really.

Hasn't Dave done another Lanois tune besides the Maker or am I just going crazy?
