ive heard my father play this when i was a wee lad. I decided to sit down and learn it. Bear with me this is after a day of trying to learn it. The voice is a little wispy too but i wanted it more lullaby-like. Tell me what you think.

one of the things i looked for was if you were doing the quik strum on the down beat, and noticed that you didn't play it as suttle as in the original recorded, and I really liked it. it seems that a lot of people leave out that down beat part when they cover it, and it was cool to not only hear it, but to hear it really well and give a little more.

Solid job man! There were a couple of iffy vocal parts (like the "into the light of a dark black night" part, but for me that is nearly impossible to hit those notes), but you did a way better job than i could have done! The guitar was great!

Thanks all. I've fallen in love with this song just recently. And yes burrito, that part of the song is impossible for me to hit as well. I have to go the low route
glad you guys liked it. thanks for the feedback

sounds good man. i'm a bit of a tough critique when it comes to this song cause a buddy of mine does a flawless cover of it, but you really did it well instrumentally. you had some missed notes vocally, but i'm being picky because 90% of it was good. i would say work on the chorus, but you have the verses down.

good job man.

Really Nice, I always admire your guitar work...

Like the others, "into the night" in the high register would've be nice.. But then again, being a Beatle would have been nice too ;)

Keep it up, I wanna hear more delay/loop work from you.

This is a difficult song to sing. I too am a harsh critic of this song. You did ok, some flaws here and there.

BTW, check out CSNY's cover of this, better than the Beatles' in my opinion

Just in case you didnt see before, i have a loop/delay song on my purevolume you might like. Bear with me though, i wrote this one about a week after i got a loopstation for christmas... that was a long time ago :). So its a little funky. Its called "The Situation" (sorry for the corny name...)
