Open Mic Night!!! What to play.......

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Watchtower is always a good one. Hotel California would be good if one of you play lead. Pretty much anything by CSNY. Listen to a Dave and Tim show to get good ideas.

Hey man, that's awesome, go in there confidently. Here is a brief list of some songs that always tend to go over well for me:

Hanukah Song - Adam Sandler (especially around Christmas)
Rainy Day Women #12 & 35 - Bob Dylan
Born To Run - Bruce Springsteen
Cat's In the Cradle - Cat Stevens
Glycerine - Bush
A Long December - Counting Crows
San Fransisco Bay Blues - Eric Clapton
Landslide - Fleetwood Mac
Margaritaville - Jimmy Buffett
The Man Who Sold the World - Nirvana
Wonderwall - Oasis
Who'll Stop the Rain - CCR
Bad, Bad Leroy Brown - Jim Croce
Man On the Moon - REM

As far as Dave material:
Two Step
Crash
Lover Lay Down
The Stone
Dancies Nancies
Ants Marching

Good luck.
-Brian

Be excellent to one another.

Pink Floyd's Wish you were here sounds great with two guitars. Also agree with Oasis wonderwall though you have to be able to strum like hell to play it. good luck.
