Yeah, sort of...we went to this local recording studio and laid down about 12 songs (and a cover of Volcano by Damien Rice), which we put on CDs and sell at our open mic nights/free shows. It made for a really fun summer, but now I am going to med school in a different state, so we have to get together when I have breaks in school.
can i get a copy of that cd plz? ill paycaptainburrito wrote:Yeah, sort of...we went to this local recording studio and laid down about 12 songs (and a cover of Volcano by Damien Rice), which we put on CDs and sell at our open mic nights/free shows. Like the guitar riff, girl has a great voice, but you are the only one who looks comfortable up there. Try giving the djembe player some positive feedback. I'm guessing he doesn't get much since he only keeps the beat. The violin was a bit abrupt and akward. I wouldn't try to fit it into the song unless it was somethin special. but the chords and melody where great.

Yeah...our onstage chemisty is a little bizarre...the awkward looking guy on the djembe for that song never looks like he is having fun, despite all of the praise we give him. He is just really deadpan. But, lots of people have said that our awkwardness is charming, so we roll with it.mbent4679 wrote:Like the guitar riff, girl has a great voice, but you are the only one who looks comfortable up there.
