Need help looking for new guitar! :)

Hello all! I don't know a super alot about guitars but I can tell you this.
Right now I own a Rogue acoustic electric guitar ($150) The string height is so high I can only play for like 20 minutes because my fingers will kill! I've been playing it for about a year and im just sick of it and need a new guitar. I need a guitar that has alot lower string heights than my rogue and is just all around easier to play.. Try and keep it under $200 if you can. Doesn't have to be acoustic electric. Just acoustic will do I suppose. Thanks everyone!!!!

Under $200, let's see...

I know there are a number of Yamaha guitars under that price, they'd mostly be started guitars, but they'll get the job done. I know my starter was an Alpine, it was a bit hard to barre, but that's about it. Maybe check at some Fenders. They aren't really good, but they've gotten better since they got their new factory.

I'm not really too up on what companies make guitars under $500 these days. Although that's mostly due to that's lowest I want to go since anything else would sort of be a down-grade. (Not trying to sound stuck-up) Good luck.

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": As long as there's, you know, sex and drugs, I can do without the rock and roll.

its not really worth upgrading cause you will be getting the same quality guitar.

Take your guitar to a luthier and have the action adjusted for 35 bucks, they will make it play nice.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

Completely agree.

Definitely, why would you buy another "pig"?

Just have this pig fixed (action adjusted) and save money for at least a donkey, maybe even for a real horse!
