A Little Holiday Recording...
Hey Everybody! I was feeling in the holiday spirit yesterday, and decided to give my favorite christmas song a try. The recording is a little bit rough in my opinion, but hey, that isn't what Christmas is all about, is it? Happy Holidays!

Hey thanks for listening! I like my Christmas songs a little bit faster and less boring, like BNL's version of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen." Good stuff. I pretty much used the chords that I found here:

I just used open chords until I towards the end where I threw some barre chords in. Nothing to fancy. Oh, and since I am too lazy to actually play them fancy chords, I just played an open G instead of G7.

Dude, my FAVORITE Christmas song, and I don't have many, 'cause I HATE Christmas music. I love it, I love how it's got a beat to it, and I've always been a fan of the sound of your voice. Rock on dude. Fantastic work.

I like this Dream Theater's version too (although voice is probably too high...)

I just noticed your location. The summer before I started grad school I did some work for a software company that designs software for doctors offices. One of our clients was a cardiologist office in lubbock, so I had to spend a week out there. I'm not going to lie...it wasn't the most exciting city I've evern been to.captainburrito wrote:Thanks a lot guys! Your comments really mean a lot to me. As for the song, I thought it was really good. The guitar was great and original, but I especially like the voice.

Yeah, it is a struggle here in Lubbock. Sometimes i just paint stuff so I can watch it dry. It isn't too bad for med school though, with the complete lack of distractions there is almost nothing to do but study. Thanks a lot for the comments dude!EnFuego wrote: I just noticed your location.
