are you 45, cause your voice sounds like it

I like it, reminds me of a MOFRO type swampy blues song. Very cool. Recording quality could have been better. Soloing was a little weak, but not bad by any means. I also thought the riff was catchy which is a plus. The banjo was a nice treat, but a little lacking.

All in all, neat song. Good job

i like the guitar part...hate the harp, sounds completely out.

the vocals are ok. they fit the song. wouldn't say it's a great singing voice or anything, but it really fits for the genre you're going for. the lead part sounds too much like an electric. can't tell if it's an electric or an acoustic w/ all the low pulled out, but i think if it sounded more acoustic it would fit better. banjo sounded fine.

 second verse sounds like eddie vedder singing country blues.

if i fixed everything i wanted to fix in this, i would make the lead acoustic, i would sing w/ a little less "growl" in the voice and i would get rid of the harmonica. other than those three minor adjustments, it's actually a really good song. not really my cup of tea, but it definitely kept my attention.

when you say the harp sounds out, you mean out of tune?

yes. the low notes are sharp and the high notes are flat. i didn't know a harp could do that.

yeah, low quality harmonicas can be out of tune. and im trying to bend notes on the harp, which i just learned how to do, so that could be it. i switched the lead guitar part to an acoustic sound, and i like the way it sounds better too. thanks.

I guarantee -- guarantee -- that, whether you think so or not, that is NOT your natural singing voice. I new it wasn't going to be the second I heard you count, "1,2,3,4".

I bet you speak lower (out of habit, probably) than your own, primal, natural pitch should be as well.

Ten bucks says your a Tenor 2 capable of hitting Tenor 1 notes. Try writing something in that range.
Stay with me, safe and ignorant.

while that is not his natural singing voice by any means, hes on key. maybe thats just his style.

while i usually love harp, this was just so boring. use the fifth of the key instead of the key itself and chiiilll with the bends.

i would say keep working on your style, you've got something originalish here
