Dave's Soundhole Pickup?

Unread post by billywestom » Mon Jan 20, 2003 2:23 am

On some shows, particularly the Farmaid 2003 show, Dave has a round black cover over the soundhole of his Taylor. Anyone have any information on what kind of pickup (if it is a pickup) this is, and has anyone used one before? This might be a stupid question, I just have a standard Fishman pickup in my acoustic.

it's a feedback jammer and not a pickup. helps him to play loud without feedback.
