What do you do with your string ends?

Right now on my guitar instead of cutting the ends off of the strings at the headstock i have them all coiled together into a small ring that sticks out perpendicular to the headstock... Does anyone do something like this or something else cool?

i cut em off, because if you move the excess strings, it can get out of tune

yea. it makes the guitar look better if you cut em. and if what fatjack says is true, then all the better to cut em off!

another thing is that they make an awful noise when you move the guitar around.

Well, according to Martha (Stewart), you can make a nice little Christmas Ornament with string ends, and some old tuners. :)

i usually cut them off but only after a few days. it takes a lot out of me to change the strings and i have to work myself up to stop being lazy and to just cut the darn things.
