...but on the other hand, he doesn't want to just frustrate himself by trying to defend the choices that he and the band has made over their career. I'm not saying that he should keep taking questions about his driving habits...but they've answered a lot of the questions that I would bet we'd be interested in a bunch of times before. They're not the answers we're looking for, but keep in mind that he's got to appeal to a wider fan base in a column like that than just the ultra hard-core DMB followers.

People who are interested in his company for one, or maybe people who post on the forums. The site is kind of a sports/music themed site, so I would say that that appeals to a pretty wide base.
Also, the desktop generator is pretty cool. Check it out.

yeah I never thought about that, even with the wide fanbase he should have mentioned that. oh well, its cool he does shit like this. Maybe if the rest if the band wasnt so old they'd use computers too

not exactly. he believes BTCS is his best work personally, not necesarily the whole band's best work.Nitro1515 wrote:yep, he pretty much ignored all the tough questions that I know a lot of people asked and he totally dodged the only serious one about Grey Street. Its still cool that he takes the time to do this and it is nice to know that he recognizes BTCS as their best work.GSR wrote:Pretty boring.
MSF: What do you think YOUR best work has been in your musical career?
SL: I would have to say that I am most proud of my playing on Before These Crowded Streets. A lot of those songs mean a lot to me because I had a big part in the writing and arrangements of them. Check the liner notes - more than any other album.
