Bridge pin buzz
Bridge pin buzz
So i picked up my Taylor 814 the other day, and when i started to play Everyday, the F on my A string was buzzing like a muffucka, but it wasn't fret buzz, it seemed to be coming from the bridge. I can't seem to put my finger on where the hell it's coming from, but could one of my bridge pins be what's making the buzzing? I just don't want to spend 20 bucks on a enw set of pins if i don't need to...i wish i could up a mp3 of what it sounds like, but it's so subtle that my shitty mic here at school won't even pick it up
but it's definatly there...any suggestions?

Often its hard to pinpoint the source of buzzing, it may sound like its coming from the bridge but the problem cound be in the headstock. make sure all the tuners are screwed on tight.
If you can't find it, take it to a luthier and they will get you set up right.

Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

That's what i'm planning on doing, because none of the pins are loose, and i had somone hold them all individually while i played and nothing stopped the buzz. I had a bone saddle put on it in May, but i doubt that's the problem because it has been AMAZING. Thanks for the input, guys, much appreciated.

Ya, same thing is going down with my Martin. Personaly I think its the bridge cuz even when i play like an open Eadgbe I still get it, but my action is super low and the weather might be affecting it some, but im going to show a luthier (sp?) its so small that its really hard to hear, you have to be listining for it to really hear it

Chalk it up to cold weather, have you been keeping your guitar out or in its case?
