Hehe ... I have a Seagull S6+C. It's not the best guitar in the world, but it's not bad for a first guitar, either.

you're right that's it not the best guitar in the world, but I betcha its best guitar for its price. imo, its the best guitar for a beginner, and a great guitar in general. I've never played a cedar top but from what I hear they're sweeter than the spruce tops. I have an Art & Lutherie which is a cheaper line than the Seagulls both made in La Patrie, Quebec with mostly all Canadian wood. nice guitars.
good, and you?

yeah, unfortunately mine got a crack in the top of it over winter break as i had to leave it here and the humidity got too low. going to get it fixed tomorrow. Fortunately, it doesn't seem to have affected the sound, and it's fairly easy to repair. That's the one thing about cedar, it's so freaking sensitive, and you really have to watch the wood, or else you'll be in serious trouble.

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.
